Whether you have a puppy that you want to start on the right foot, an older dog that needs help or a pooch that could just use a little brushing up, our experienced trainers are here to help.
Our qualified dog trainer can often identify problems before dog owners do, and we’re here to help solve them in a safe and rewarding environment. Some of the common issues that we can address include: jumping, barking, recall (or lack thereof), reactivity to dogs/people, toilet training, impulse control, general manners, general obedience, grooming tolerance.
Pawsome aims to help owners identify causes and triggers for these problematic behaviours and offer tools and understanding on how to reduce the incidence through redirection, desensitisation and positive experiences. All techniques are based on Learning Theory and an understanding of how dogs perceive the world.
These sessions not only benefit your dog, but also give you a chance to learn about fostering a positive relationship with your canine and encouraging them to live a happy and healthy life full of good behaviour!
Issues that would be classified as ‘behavioural’ (aggression, anxiety etc.) will be referred to one of our trusted affiliate Dog Trainers, who are registered members of the Australian Dog Training Federation and personally referred and used by our Pack Leaders.
We understand this is an important decision to make, and to remove any guesswork we offer new clients a FREE in-home private consultation so we can fully understand your pet’s needs and customise the right care to meet your budget.
